Meet Your Chiropractor
Dr. L. Shane Manley, D.C. (aka Dr. Shane) is a board-certified chiropractor from Washington, Kansas. He graduated from Cleveland University College of Chiropractic in Overland Park, Kansas. Being an athlete most of his life he is no stranger to pain and muscle soreness. Dr. Shane grew up seeing his chiropractor weekly to alleviate the wear and tear on his spine and muscles from baseball, football, basketball, gymnastics and track. He realized early on how important the communication from the brain and nervous system to the rest of the body is and how this allows the body to heal itself with no need of medicine.

During his undergrad education at Kansas State University, he met his wife Anne. Shortly after graduation they got married and moved to Bentonville, Arkansas where they had three beautiful children: Skyler, Braeden and Brittan. Shortly after the birth of their youngest child, Brittan, Anne was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Both Dr. Shane and Anne continued to see the family chiropractor during all of her cancer treatments and surgeries. Seeing their chiropractor regularly made them feel better, have less stress, better overall health and improved Anne’s quality of life. Her recovery times after treatments were cut in half, she had more energy and up until the last two weeks of her life she remained active as a mother and kept involved with her work and the church. After multiple surgeries, chemotherapy treatments and radiation treatments, Anne passed away from a 7-year battle with cancer.
Knowing firsthand how beneficial chiropractic care was for him as an athlete and for his wife during the most trying times of her life, he wanted to dedicate the rest of his life to helping as many people as he could by becoming a chiropractor. Dr. Shane opened Total Health Chiropractic in Lowell, Arkansas in December of 2021. It is centrally located for easy access to serve all of Northwest Arkansas and Southern Missouri. This location was vital to making his dream of helping as many people as possible regain their life without the fear of pain and sickness holding them back.

When not at work Dr. Shane enjoys hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, spending time with his family and church family and cheering on the K-State Wildcats, Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
